Tasting Notes – November 2022:

Fully mature at almost 10 years old and cellared under ideal conditions, the wine opens with developed aromas of sandalwood and cedar, pencil shavings, and blackberry compote.  Fine grained and elegant tannins have almost fully resolved and leave lingering flavours of chocolate covered espresso beans, black current, and baking spices.  Perfumed and exotic, the wine will continue to evolve in the glass or decanter over the course of an evening.
