2007 Locust Lane Rosé
Deep garnet red color. Concentrated lifted nose of wild berries, sweet cinnamon and luscious apricot. Rich and full palate of raspberry, strawberry, sour cherry and rhubarb. Nice fleshy and luscious palate with a dry and clean finish. Great balance with a beautiful dry and generous finish.
The Pinot Noir was bled off the skins after 7-8 days of cold soak. It was then cold settled for two days before racking. The juice was fermented at cold temperatures with Assmenhausen yeast in a stainless steel tank. The Malbec juice was bled off after 48 hours on skin and the non-clarified juice was added to the fermenting Pinot Noir.
