Bright yellow pale gold with hint of green. Lifted highly complex nose showing cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet smoky character. The nose also has intense gooseberry and dry Provençal herbs. Rich and full palate showing gooseberry, wet stone minerality and yellow grapefruit. The wine has a savory, clean and a complex long finish.

Winemaking Comments:

The grapes were hand picked, sorted and whole bunch pressed. The juice was fermented warm (up to 26 degrees Celsius) in French oak and stainless steel barrels. The wine spent nine months in barrel and the lees were stirred weekly before blending, filtration and bottling.
