Bright straw yellow with a concentrated nose showing pear, fig and roasted hazelnut. This is a very rich luscious Chardonnay whose palate is dominated by intense figs with some lingering pineapple character. The finish is generous, fresh and clean, supported by good acidity.

Winemaking Comments:

The grapes were whole bunch pressed and fermented by a combination of wild and commercial yeasts in premium French oak and stainless steel barrels. We selected the best barrels from the old vine lots from the Rosomel vineyard with the wine having spent 10 months in barrel before blending and bottling.
